Mondi to sell last pulp, paper plant in Russia for 80 bln rbl
MOSCOW, Sep 18 (PRIME) -- Paper and packaging producer Mondi has agreed to sell its last and largest pulp and paper plant in Russia located in the Komi Republic for 80 billion rubles, the company said in a statement on Monday.
“Mondi today announces that it has entered into an agreement to sell its last remaining facility in Russia, Mondi Syktyvkar, together with two affiliated entities to Sezar Invest for a total cash consideration of 80 billion rubles to be paid in a series of instalments,” the statement read.
“Mondi confirms that both the Federal Antimonopoly Service and the government’s sub-commission for the control of foreign investments have approved the deal on the terms agreed between Mondi and Sezar Invest.”
